The Amish Shop was built by our Amish friends in 1994. It is a quaint little gift shop, complete with a country porch, that is filled with the hand crafted treasures made by the local Amish families.
Among the many treasures (which you can also buy online! ... just follow the link) are handmade furniture, Amish quilts, rugs, baskets, home made Amish candies, jams and jellies, maple syrup, a large selection of books about the Amish lifestyle and Amish gifts. The front porch offers a place to sit and relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of the farm, which is nestled in a peaceful valley setting just 2 miles east of Cashton, Wisconsin along State Hwy 33.
The Little Red Shed was built here on the farm in 1905 and was used in the early years as a storage shed. It later became a garage for early model cars and later once again became a storage shed. In 1996 it was remodeled to become a Country Crafts and Gifts shop, that today features many products made in Wisconsin by local and area artisans. You'll find everything from Cranberry products to home made soaps, lotions and perfumes, as well as a variety of other giftware. We have seasonal products for your spring, fall and winter decorating. Think of the Little Red Shed for Mother's Day, Father's Day, Birthday Gifts and Christmas Gifts! Something for everyone on your list!
New in 2006 is Emma's Kitchen. Featuring a wide variety of jams and jellies, noodles, home made candies, honey products, maple syrup, pancake and bread mixes and other food products. Emma's Kitchen is sure to tempt your taste buds! Emma's Kitchen is nestled in along the beautifully landscaped pathway to the next shop...
Enjoy your day in the country just a bit more by enjoying a hand dipped ice cream cone from this cute little country ice cream shop. We'll entice you with several flavors of "Made in Wisconsin" ice cream. Have it in a cone, a dish, as an ice cream sundae or a root beer float. You may also want to try our delicious old fashioned Spring Grove Soda Pop.
We carry Cedar Crest Ice Cream that is a Wisconsin favorite! Our ice cream shop is usually open from around May 15th thru Oct 15th.
